CJ E&M confirmed the idol group, famous for hits Wolf and Growl, will be making an appearance at the award show this year through a spoiler spot broadcast on Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN on November 14.
EXO has been nominated for four awards at this year’s ceremony, including Best Male Group, Best Dance Performance – Male Group, Artist of the Year and BC – UnionPay Song of the Year.
According to the current rankings on the MAMA voting page, EXO is currently the front-runner for Song of the Year, racing ahead of G-Dragon, SHINee, SNSD and 2NE1’s CL.
Big Bang, Crayon Pop and Ylvis as well as Stevie Wonder will also grace the MAMA stage this year.
The 2013 MAMA will be heading to Hong Kong, where K-Pop and the world’s top artists will gather at the AsiaWorld-Expo on November 22 to celebrate the year in music. Online voting will be open until November 21.
