Jung Il Woo meets over 3,000 fans in Malaysia

Hallyu star Jung Il Woo recently had a wonderful time with over 3,000 Malaysian fans.

Jung, who is a representative for the cosmetic brand Holica Holica, held a special signing event in Malaysia. Jung previously received the Best Asian Actor at Hwajung Awards in China. Thanks to his high popularity, Malaysian officials asked him to hold an event for his local fans.

Over 3,300 fans from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Dubai gathered together to attend the event and see Jung.

He appeared on the stage and received an explosive response from the fans. Since Jung had his birthday on September 9, the fans sang the birthday song in three languages, English, Korean, and Malaysian.

After the song, Jung blew kisses to the fans and made them go wild with excitement.

Jang Keun Suk successfully completes his Japanese concert

Actor Jang Keun Suk recently made over 36,000 Japanese fans wild with excitement.

Jang flew to Japan on September 13 to hold ‘The Cri Show 2′ starting on Septmeber 14 for eight nights and nine days.

Over 36,000 tickets for four concerts, which were held in Osaka on September 14 and 15 and in Nagoya on September 19 and 20, sold out in total.

Since Jang gave live performances throughout all his concerts during the Asian tour, his throat was not feeling very well. Jang, however, did his best to make the concerts perfect for the Japanese fans.

His fans also held a surprise event for Jang. At the Nagoya concert on his lunar birthday, September 19, the fans impressed Jang by singing a birthday song.

After giving an encore at the second concert in Nagoya, Jang completed his four Japanese concerts by thanking his fans.

Jang will also hold ‘The Cri Show 2′ in Fukuoka on October 6 and 7.

Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun play Truth or Dare on Faith

Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) and Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) play Truth or Dare.

In the fourteenth episode of SBS TV’s drama series Faith, which will air on September 25, Eun Soo asks Choi Young to play Truth or Dare.

In the previous episode, Choi Young and Eun Soo make a promise that they will protect each other. After that, Eun Soo sincerely worries about Choi Young, curing his wounded hand, and Choi Young also becomes cheerful.

Because Choi Young never lies and Eun Soo is always frank about herself, viewers are wondering what kinds of questions and answers they will exchange through the Truth or Dare.

While they’re playing the game, Choi Young shows his affection for Eun Soo.

A spokesperson for Faith says, “Choi Young and Eun Soo will frankly talk about themselves in the next episode. There will also be a scene of Choi Young and Eun Soo realizing each other’s feeling. Please look forward to it.”

In the thirteenth episode of the series, which aired on September 24, Choi Young gets falsely accused of bribery.

On Faith: Why did Lee Min Ho have to attack Yoo Oh Sung?

Lee Min Ho decides to make a frontal attack on Yoo Oh Sung in SBS’s Monday-Tuesday series Faith.

In the eleventh episode of the series, which will air on September 17, Lee (plays the role of Choi Young) decides to meet Yoo (plays the role of Ki Chul) by himself without Ryu Deok Hwan (plays the role of King Gong Min) and his men.

Lee has been assisting the King to help him become a true king. As a result, Lee has been trying not to become involved in reckless events.

He even tells his men not to risk their lives. Lee, however, decides to fight against Yoo even though he knows that Yoo is very powerful and it made the audience wonder what changed his mind.

A spokesperson for the series says, “Lee risks his life to fight against Yoo in the next episode. Please focus on Lee and his changed feelings.”

In the tenth episode of the series, which aired on September 11, Yoo started killing people that Ryu wanted to keep close to him.

The new episode will air at 9:55 p.m.

PSY’s “Gangnam Style” becomes highest viewed K-pop MV

After 49 days since it’s release, PSY‘s “Gangnam Style” has become the highest viewed K-pop music video on YouTube.

Girls’ Generation‘s “Gee“, released back on June 8, 2009 held the crown for quite some time with the highest views for a K-pop music video. However, with the viral power of “Gangnam Style”, PSY has surpassed it and became the first K-pop artist to surpass the 85 million view mark.

Over the past week, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” has been averaging nearly 5 million views a day and it seems it won’t be slowing down any time soon. ^^

IU recently fessed up that she has a crush on Big Bang’s Taeyang.

The episode of KBS2’s Entertainment News that aired on September 1 featured IU shooting a commercial of cosmetic brand.

When asked about her ideal type of man, the singer replied, “The male lead character of each series used to be my ideal type, so it used to change whenever I was doing a new series.” The songbird, however, chose Taeyang as her ideal type of man in the end.

Commenting on her debut as a cosmetic brand model, the beauty said, “Shots are a bit different because they are for cosmetic brand, which are supposed to be pretty.” The singer also expressed content about her life, saying, “I feel free in every way since I became twenty.”
